***Warning: this post rambles and makes no sense***
I think I might be losing my mind. But it's hard to tell. Life is good right now, just boring. I've done a lot of knitting and little else. I am currently working on all of the following projects: A viking hat for my niece, socks for my dad, a cute fluffy bunny, probably also for my niece, and a sweater for me, which I haven't made much progress on since I ran out of yarn. I have had one interview (and I didn't get the job), and called a bunch of principals, but they all said call them back when I have my certificate. Great. I think i'm just a little bored and lonely and stir crazy today, and I have no Sam to take it out on as usual because he's, drumroll please, working! Huzzah! I think i should go now. I need to get out of the house. Yes. Yes I do.
P.S. Who wants to see the cutest thing ever? Besides me of course...
This is my wonderful beautiful cute & tiny niece:
And a close tie for the second cutest thing ever, Sam's niece: (And Sam. And Gary. But the baby's the cute one. Well, Sam's pretty cute too. But that's a different kind of cute.)

I'm not Bad Crazy, I'm Good Crazy...right?
It has been brought to my attention that most of the world does not consider weird and crazy to be desireable traits. I'm very confused. Doesn't weird mean unique, creative, and intriguing? Doesn't crazy mean vivacious, spontaneous, and fun to be around? Apparently not. According to my better half, most people think weird means creepy and annoying, and that crazy means mentally ill. Which explains why Lisa was so upset that I kept referring to myself as Crazy Aunt Lorien. Hmmm...

Welcome!
This is my new official grown-up weblog, because I am now undeniably a grown-up. Or so they tell me. Really, I just got tired of being made fun of for having a Xanga. Apparently only teenagers have xangas.
I, Lorien Holloway, promise to abide by the following rules for posting: 1. Complete sentences only. Except for that one. And all the other ones in this paragraph. But after that, only complete sentences! 2. No rambling. Or if there is rambling (cause who am I kidding), I will post a warning at the begining of the post. 3. At least one link per post. Cause links are fun!
Sadly, I don't really have anything to say today. I'm too tired. How's that for a great start?
P.S. Trebuchet is a cool name for a font that has nothing whatsoever to do with medieval warfare. Rule number three, check!
